Volker Wieland about the Future Course of the ECB ("Börsen-Zeitung")

Before the next meeting of the Governing Council of the European Central Bank (ECB) at the beginning of June many ECB watchers expect a whole package of measures.

The German business paper "Börsen-Zeitung" has asked former ECB members and economists, among them Volker Wieland, about their expectations on the future course of the ECB.

According to Volker Wieland, a further cut in interest rates as well as negative interest rates are not necessary.
