Balint Tatar joined the scientific staff of the German Council of Economic Experts (GCEE) as an economist for macroeconomics in June 2021. Prior to joining the Council, he has been working as a research assistant at the IMFS. As part of his PhD studies his research focusses on dynamic and international macroeconomics as well as on estimation methods of macroeconomic models.
His co-author is the IMFS graduate Mátyás Farkas, an economist with the European Central Bank (ECB). The paper is available as IMFS Working Paper 144.
