The European Court of Justice gave final approval to the European Central Bank's OMT bond buying program (Outright Monetary Transactions). In an interview with "Börsen-Zeitung" Helmut Siekmann explains the consequences for the ECB and the Federal Constitutional Court.

After the approval of the European Court of Justice the German Constitutional Court will deal again with the OMT program. According to Helmut Siekmann the German Court may not change its assessment. He still sees a potential conflict between the German and the European Court.
