Starting in 2012 several central banks introduced negative interest rate policies (NIRP), in 2014 the European Central Bank (ECB) also introduced a negative deposit facility interest rate. In an IMF-IMFS Webinar economists and central bank watchers are taking stock of this experience. The discussion is moderated by Prof. Volker Wieland.
