After the General Advocate of the European Court of Justice has backed the bond-buying program of the European Central Bank market participants expect further measures at the next meeting of the Governing Council of the ECB. In an interview with "Tagesthemen" Helmut Siekmann comments on the ECB monetary policy.

"The only thing the ECB can do is buying time", Helmut Siekmann said in "Tagesthemen". According to him, some countries in the euro area still need to implement structural reforms.
