Working Lunch with Peter Lutz, BaFin, on November 7

The challenges Brexit implies for banks and supervisors is the topic of an IMFS Working Lunch by Dr. Peter Lutz. Lutz is Head of Department Coordination & Supervision of Foreign Banks at the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin).

What does the BaFin expect from banks that want to relocate their activities from Great Britain to Germany? How does the BaFin cooperate with other European supervisors such as the European Banking Authority (EBA) and the Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM)? Besides these aspects, Lutz will also touch upon the repercussions of a Brexit without a contractual agreement reached when Great Britain is leaving the European Union.
