Volker Wieland warns against hard Brexit (n-tv)

In view of the uncertainty about Great Britain's withdrawal agreement from the European Union, Volker Wieland has asked for a consensus. In an interview with the TV station n-tv he warned that further delays could end in a hard Brexit.

"it is in Europe's interest to come to a decision as soon as possible that will be through Parliament. Otherwise, it will be too late", Wieland said.

In 2016, the Brits had decided in a referendum to leave the European Union. Now, the British Prime Minister Theresa May is trying to convince the Parliament of the withdrawal agreement she negotiated with Brussels.
