
Anna Schimke studied German language and literature, public law, and European ethnology in Münster and Riga (Latvia). Her main areas of interest were literary and cultural theory, with a particular focus on the relationship between law and literature. Her studies, which were funded by the German National Academic Foundation, culminated in a thesis on administrative acts from a literary perspective. Anna Schimke then studied law with a focus on information and communication in Hamburg, where she also earned her doctorate. She is completing her legal clerkship at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court. Her research focuses in particular on fundamental issues and legal problems of digital transformation.
