Felix-Julius Konow studied Law at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main. Since 2026, he has worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Civil Law, Financial Market Regulation, Banking and Monetary Law, which is held by Prof. Dr. Katja Langenbucher at the IMFS. From 2022, he was previously a research assistant at the Chair of Civil Law, Commercial Law and Banking Law at the House of Finance, also under Prof. Dr. Katja Langenbucher at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main.
He completed his doctorate at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main in 2025 with a dissertation entitled 'Stablecoins and Supervisory Law'. His doctoral research was funded by a scholarship from the Arbeitskreis Wirtschaft und Recht and supported by a publication grant from the Stiftung Geld und Währung. In 2025, he was a lecturer at Université Lumière Lyon 2.
His research focuses in particular on the impact of digital transformation on banking supervisory law and civil law. A special emphasis lies on the law of crypto-assets and payment services law. He is currently completing his legal clerkship (Referendariat) at the Regional Court of Hanau.
