Sara Watanyar has been studying law at Goethe-University Frankfurt since the winter semester 2022/23. In 2025 she pursued academic opportunities at SciencesPo in Paris. Her research focuses on international and European law as well as legal philosophy.
Since October 2025 Sara Watanyar is part of Prof. Dr. Katja Langenbucher’s team to delve deeper into the subject of banking and capital market law. During her time as a student assistant at Prof. Dr. Morell’s chair, from 2023 until 2024, she was able to support his research in antitrust and commercial law.
Moreover, Sara Watanyar gained her first practical experiences in international corporate law firms in Berlin and Paris in the field of public economic law and product liability law.
